About Me
I’m Sarah! I’m a wife and a mom to two beautiful, busy children.
I am a cesarean and VBAC mama who went through IUI and IVF to meet our son. I am proud of all of these journeys and want you to feel proud of yourself too!
I became interested in doula work after observing how my own doula was able to provide an unbiased soundboard when choosing how to approach my breech daughter’s birth. I want to help you navigate your way through your own pregnancies, births, postpartum experiences, and to help provide knowledge to make informed decisions as I was able to.
Prior to being a doula, I was a teacher. Pieces of teaching that I carry with me are my calm presence and strong working partnerships. I have found a lot of joy bringing these pieces into my work as a doula, helping everyone feel heard and to provide them the support to be their best.
I am committed to helping you feel confident in your roles. I have a strong focus on mental health and want to help ensure you have someone to talk to every step of the way.
My Approach
I firmly believe that every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is unique. Doula support should be too. I am going to follow your lead and offer guidance and comfort when and where I can, no judgements.
Who do I support?
I am proud to support all types of families including, but not limited to: LBGTQ+ families, single parents by choice, pregnancies through surrogacy, adoptive families.
